This was about the age when I picked up a

pen for the first time and started drawing.

I haven’t put a pen down since.

I have been a children's book author and illustrator for almost 20 years. My very first three books that I wrote and illustrated were accepted for publication by Dinah Stevenson, Executive Editor and Publisher at Clarion Books, a Houghton Mifflin imprint. I went on to illustrate other titles such as I See A Monster, Ocean Wonders, The Happy Hippos, and many more. My most recent title is Monstergarten, illustrated by Jef Kaminsky and accepted for publication by Liz Szabla, Associate Publisher at Feiwel and Friends, an imprint of Macmillan. I work in a variety of mediums including but not limited to watercolor, acrylic, acrylic gouache, gouache and micron markers. I love to create unique and imaginative children's books that come from my heart and soul. I have stories to tell and share with the world, and hopefully that resonates with my work. I love long walks on the beach, contemplating the meaning of life, dollar bills and eating oysters. I reside in classy Albany, NY, with my amazing son.
